Mint sauce

Simple mint sauce recipe to go with any tandoori item or Indian savory snacks like samosas, puffs etc..

1/2 cup packed mint leaves
1/4 cup packed coriander leaves
1 shallot chopped
1 green chilli chopped
1/2 tsp cumin powder
3 tbsp fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp water
1 tsp Sugar
Salt per taste

Strip the mint and coriander leaves from the stems and add to a blender along with all the other ingredients. Blend to a smooth paste and take into a serving bowl.
