One thing about is me that I am a big fan of fresh fruit juices and so I usually get bulk fruit from Costco all the time. Well another thing about me is that at times I am the most laziest person on the face of earth..I think you got where this is going..Yeah yeah you got me right...sometimes all the fruit end up in my refrigerator and I tend to do these experiments with food instead of throwing them away..The dish I made today is one such experiment which turned out good to my husband's surprise he he ..I hope you guys will enjoy this dish as much as we did...... Ingredients 2 apples chopped into medium pieces 3/8 cup Apple Butter/Apple Sauce 2 cups Milk 1 cup/1 14oz can Condensed Milk 3/4 cup Brown Sugar 2 tbsp butter Cashews A pinch of Cardamom Method Take a large microwave safe bowl and add the chopped apples. Fruit Smoothie

There is a saying about meals. Eat breakfast like a King.. eat lunch like a Minister and eat dinner like a Queen... which translates to have a heavy breakfast, moderate lunch and a light dinner.. For me I am not a cereal person and to make breakfast every morning is next to impossible because I am not a morning person...I figured out a way to keep me filled..A SMOOTHIE!!!!!!!!! easy to make..serves your daily fruit and most important thing is it is nutritious and keeps me filled and focused.. I tried out a gazillion recipes to make smoothies..common not exactly gazillion..but made many varieties of smoothies. I wanna share one of my favorite smoothie here.. Ingredients 1 Banana 1 Apple 1 cup Grapes 2 cups blueberries 10 strawberries 1 cup yogurt (I prefer mango flavored greek yogurt) 1 cup Milk 3 tablespoons Honey some Ice Method Take all the ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth and creamy. Healthy Fruit Juice

I think beetroot is the most underrated vegetable. But the fact is beet is a good antioxidant. It is also a good source of lot of nutrients. Do not get fooled by the dark red color :). Here is one great juice recipe which includes beets yet tasty.. Ingredients 1 big Beetroot or 2 medium/small Beetroots 2 large Carrots 1 Apple 1 cup purple Grapes(Any kind of grapes will work. I am just going with the color theme.) Juice of 3 Oranges 1 tablespoon honey leaves from 2 sprigs of mint Method In a juice jar take all the ingredients and extract the juice. It will be easy if you are using a fruit juicer but if you are using a blender like I did, just pour the mixture into a regular strainer and press the juice into a bowl.  Discard the residue and pour the juice into a glass and enjoy..
